At BISR we provide a holistic educational experience for our students. Academic studies are enhanced by provision of a broad enrichment programme, including a comprehensive range of after school activities, inter-house competition, service learning experiences, day trips and residential trips. These are further enhanced through sporting competitions and inter-school events, taking advantage of local, national and international opportunities. 

Our enrichment programme helps students develop a wide range of skills and attributes that enhance their more formal studies. We utilise as many local opportunities as possible, alongside promoting intercultural learning through trips that take students further afield. Research shows that involvement in the broader school curriculum through enrichment activities, supports stronger academic performance and enhanced student wellbeing; both of which are things that students would want for themselves and parents want for their children. 

We are very proud of the enrichment programme we offer and expect all students attending BISR to become fully involved in this area of our school
