Al Hamra, our oldest, most endearing campus was lovingly designed to unite our community and ensure our students, families and staff quickly develop a strong sense of belonging.

With capacity for 1200 students, the campus is large enough to provide all the very best facilities and programmes worthy of the BISR moniker, but small enough to ensure every child’s uniqueness is recognised and success is maximised.

BISR Al Hamra offers a comprehensive suite of vocational qualifications either as standalone qualifications or in combination with A-Levels. BTEC subjects include Engineering, IT, Esports, Business Enterprise and Entrepreneurship and Sport. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school, supporting the needs of Riyadh’s diverse international community.

Learning Spaces All learning spaces in Al Hamra are intentionally designed to provide a dynamic, engaging, and future-oriented educational experience. These spaces go far beyond traditional classrooms, reflecting a commitment to student-centered learning and global citizenship.
ART Our well-equipped art rooms are creative sanctuaries, with ample space for each student to express themselves and let their creativity shine.
SPORTS Sport is a huge part of what we do at Al Hamra - we have a fitness suite, dance studio, sports hall, gymnasium and multi-purpose astro turf pitch, all of which support a diverse, inclusive, and high-quality PE programme, promoting health and a lifelong love of physical activity.
SWIMMING Our swimming pool provides the perfect environment for every student to learn and thrive in the water. It’s also home to energetic swimming galas that combine friendly competition with a strong sense of House spirit.
LABORATORIESState of the art science, food technology, and art and design laboratories, teaching students how to think critically, solve problems, look at data, and make conclusions - all skills that are essential for success and transferable to various aspects of life.
