Committed to collaboration, creativity and community
Al Hamra, our oldest, most endearing campus was lovingly designed to unite our community and ensure our students, families and staff quickly develop a strong sense of belonging.
With capacity for 1200 students, the campus is large enough to provide all the very best facilities and programmes worthy of the BISR moniker, but small enough to ensure every child’s uniqueness is recognised and success is maximised.
Each child’s progress can be tracked to support their academic development, and we make sure all students participate in our enrichment programmes, activities, house competitions, team sports, outdoor education opportunities, and the visual and performing arts.
At Al Hamra, we seek excellence in everything we do. Outstanding teachers who continually strive to provide the best teaching and learning, and an outstanding curriculum to ensure our students can thrive beyond BISR. We also endeavour for excellence in communication with families to help engage them in the life of our school and, most importantly, their child’s growth.
Preparing our students for life beyond BISR is at the core of what we do. with a strong focus on student agency, transferable skills, critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving and team skills.
BISR Al Hamra caters for students aged 3-18 and offers a comprehensive suite of vocational qualifications (BTECs) either as standalone qualifications or in combination with A-Levels. BTEC subjects include Engineering, IT, Esports, Business Enterprise and Entrepreneurship and Sport. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school, supporting the needs of Riyadh’s diverse international community.
Our success lies in our commitment to fostering collaboration, creativity and a strong sense of community to ensure every stakeholder thrives.
